Online NoCo History Resources
Digitized Photo Collections: If you enjoy looking through old photographs, then you’ll enjoy looking through these digital archives of Northern Colorado photographs.
- Weld County Images Collection from the High Plains Library District
- Fort Collins History Connection from the Archive at FCMoD
- Colorado State University Historic Photograph Collection
- University of Northern Colorado Digital Archives
- Estes Park Museum Photo Archives
- Denver Public Library Digital Collections (includes Northern Colorado images)
Surveys, stories, and other interesting history reads focusing on Northern Colorado: Research on older places is done with some frequency, but the documentation often ends up stuck on a shelf (even if it’s an online “shelf”) and rarely is advertised as being available to the public (though it is). As I come across such items, I’ll add them here. Because there is so much research out there that’s already been done, I’ll be sorting these roughly north to south by regions.
